Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, Changsha, Toronto, Pittsburgh, I have moved from city to city for the past 8 years exploring different design practices. Last December , I finished my Masters at CMU in Integrated Innovation for Products, focusing on HCI.
I originally came from a background in architecture and finance. These disciplines have become the foundation that ground my work through aesthetic judgment and evidence-based design. To me, it is not about the work that I produce, but rather the ability to meaningfully build and foster beautiful and complex relationships.
Apart from work,
🎬 - I love exploring various forms of art, music, and film in whatever way I can and occasionally dabble in graphic design.
📘 - I also enjoy critically thinking about democratic values by reading classic writers like Hobbes, Habermas, and especially Kant, who has a cosmopolitan view of what the world should have been.
🏔 - Whenever I can, I try to slow down, breathe, and visit nature as it has always been a place that helps enrich my imagination.
